Using PixelDodo

PixelDodo (pixeldodo.com) is run by Sourabh Shen ("we", "us"). By using the site and its editors you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it. Our privacy policy and cookies and storage page explain how the site handles data.

Free, as it is

The editors are free to use, for personal and commercial work, with no account. We may add, change or remove features at any time.

Your work is yours

Everything you open and make in PixelDodo stays on your device and belongs to you (or to whoever owns it). We never receive it, so we claim no rights to it and cannot see, use or recover it.

What you put in

You are responsible for what you open, make and share with PixelDodo. Only use pictures, videos, sound, fonts and other material you have the right to use, and don't use the editors to make anything unlawful: for example content that infringes someone's copyright or trademark, invades their privacy, defames them, or deceives people by passing off a fake picture or video as real.

What we made

The site, the editors and their design belong to us, apart from the open-source parts listed in credits and licences, which keep their own licences.

You may use our templates, sample pictures, shapes and stickers in your own work, including work you sell or publish, once you have made it your own. You may not sell or give them away on their own, as a template pack or stock collection. Fonts from Google Fonts come with their own (free) licences, and emoji are drawn by your device's own font.

Fair use of the site

Please don't attack, overload or try to break into the site, scrape it in a way that burdens it, or copy it to pass it off as your own. We may block access that does.

Keep your own copies

The editors keep your work in your browser's storage. Browsers can clear it (when space runs low, in a private window, or when you clear site data), and it does not move between browsers or devices. We have no copy, so download anything you want to keep. Screenshots keeps only the picture you are working on.

No warranty

PixelDodo is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, as far as the law allows. We don't promise that it will always be available, work in every browser, be free of errors, or that an export will be exactly what you expect. Check your work before you rely on it.

Limits on liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from using or being unable to use PixelDodo, including lost work, lost data, or indirect or consequential loss. Because the service is free, our total liability for anything else is limited to ₹1,000. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes and ending

We may change these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and using the site after a change means you accept it. We may also change or close PixelDodo. If we close it, we will try to give notice on the site so you can download your work.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of India, but if you use PixelDodo as a consumer you also keep any protection the laws of the country where you live give you. Please write to us first; most things can be sorted out by email.
